Paid to search the web?

Published by bcwillson04 at 12:22 pm under December Posts Edit This

I just signed up for a site that pays me to use their search engine (which is powered by google & ask.com) & shop online through their retailers (including Wal-Mart). The down side is that the incentive is not cash, it’s “swagbucks” which can be redeemed for gift cards (including but not limited to Target, Starbucks, Macy’s, Exxon Gas, Subway, etc). The gift cards range in size from $5 to $500 dollars and the swagbucks range from 5 to 7000. Obviously, the more swagbucks you collect the higher the prize can be. So I signed up Sunday and have used the site a handful of times. I have 7 swagbucks simply for signing up & doing a few searches. I recently used their site to purchase a birthday gift and should receive 6 swagbucks for that (you get 1 swagbuck for every $5 you spend). Considering Wal-Mart is on the list, I intend to shop online for a lot of my Christmas gifts and go through this website. Maybe I can get enough swagbuck to get the $20 Target gift card and then give it to my brother (he’s a huge Target fan) for Christmas. Granted, I have not yet had to redeem my points, so I have no insight to how that will work. But it’s worth giving it a try. If you decide to sign up, use this link please…

P.S. I must give credit to facebook since my good friends at *Carrie’s Deals* are the ones who told me about this site!
